Troy Waller – National Sales, North America
With 15 years experience in the specialty coffee industry working for both a Fortune 500 corporation and a small fourth generation family owned coffee roasting business in New York City, Troy has gained valuable knowledge and a broad insight of the industry across multiple platforms and from many perspectives … both good and bad! Combining an extensive background in both sales and operations, he’s now focussed on bringing this world class coffee experience to consumers and businesses across the country.
Troy now lives in Dallas, TX with his wife and two young sons. Originally from South Africa, he enjoys anything that has to do with business, sport, food, wine, politics and general socializing and good times. Oh, and don’t forget to add coffee to that list too!
Alessandro Hausbrandt – Founder & President
Only a few people are born into royalty. Fewer still are born into coffee royalty. The last name Hausbrandt is to Italian espresso what Heinz is to ketchup. The traditions of the Hausbrandt family have been with Alessandro since birth, instilling in him a passion for excellence that he hopes to pass on to the 5th generation of Hausbrandt’s.
Alessandro has 26 years direct experience in the international coffee sector; from Vice President of Hausbrandt Coffee Company (which was sold by his father in 1988), to independent green bean trader in Monaco, to founding his own coffee roasting company that is dedicated to the traditions of his family and the city of Trieste.
Alessandro lives in a small town just outside Venice, Italy with his wife and two kids. In addition to Italian he speaks fluent English and French. When he’s not traveling, his little spare time is spent with his family and pursuing interests in sport and photography. Don’t tell his wife, but he’s also a pretty good cook when he needs to be!
